Why hasn’t the book’s sequel been titled yet?
Because the right title doesn’t reveal itself… until everything else does.
It’s the final piece—the one that only comes into focus after every page has been shaped, every word refined, and every voice behind the scenes has weighed in.
That process is happening now.
For the past month, the manuscript has been under careful review. Over the next few weeks, it will continue to evolve, sharpen, and deepen. And somewhere in that final stretch… the title will emerge. And when the title is finally revealed, it will be one that truly captures the depth, emotion, and purpose of what’s to come.
BUT
When a publisher ultimately acquires the book, they’ll likely have significant (sometimes near-total) input in choosing a title they believe will market it effectively. Depending on the publisher and the author’s track record, the author’s influence on the final title can range from minimal to substantial.
In the meantime, we’ll simply refer to upcoming posts as “The Sequel” until an official title is announced.

What is the sequel to Love Loss and Awakening about?
In this heartfelt sequel, the journey continues through the reflections of one man and the voices of others—men and women walking a similar path. Together, they explore what it means to be single later in life: learning to live alone, to heal in healthy holistic ways without relying on substances, and to rediscover themselves and find joy again.
For some, the path also includes facing an unexpected, deeply human experience—the pain of heartbreak for the first time later in life.
Through honest stories, shared wisdom, and moments of vulnerability, a powerful truth emerges: none of us walks this road alone. Even in the midst of loss, connection, healing, and hope remains possible, as each of us continues weaving our way back to joy.

I’m excited to announce that the sequel is complete and currently with my editors.
